About my Work
After some fourteen years working as a full-time professional wedding photographer, covering around forty ceremonies a year, I retired from wedding photography in 2021, at the height of the Covid-19 Pandemic. I now concentrate on Family and Dog Photos around the Country Park, Passport, Driving Licence, Visa & ID Photos, and Video Tape to DVD transfer.
My Workshop at Craig-y-Nos Country Park
My workshop is in the grounds of the beautiful Craig-y-Nos Country Park, on the southern edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park, south Wales. The park covers some forty-acres, has two large ponds, a boat house, ducks and geese, two rivers, meadows, picnic benches, tea rooms/café, toilets, two craft shops and inexpensive parking. The workshop is wheelchair accessible and has nearby disabled toilet and free disabled parking. The park, workshop, tea rooms/café and craft shops are also all dog-friendly.
As resident photographer at Craig-y-Nos Country Park, I have official permission to carry out photography there. Right next door to the country park is the world-famous Craig-y-Nos Castle, once home to one of the world's greatest opera singers - Madame Adelina Patti - and now primarily used as a wedding venue. About half a mile away are Dan-yr-Ogof Caves (National Showcaves Centre For Wales), also used as a wedding venue.
